NTU Design Industries Brochure
The Design process and being lead designer to creating the 2018 NTU Design Industries student brochure, showcasing all final year student projects throughout BA/BSC Product Design/ Product and Furniture.
As part of my final year at University, my course had developed an EXPO in preparation for our end of year degree show. Labeled under the brand NTU Design Industries.

This essentially consisted of  get togethers and meetings to creating content to help profile each student as a set up for industry and showcase their work throughout the most important year of the university journey. The EXPO showcased work through various platforms, being social media, our own website and ultimately our own brochure, entirely done by students.
My Role.
On top of my final year work, I decided to put myself forward for lead design for our NTUDI brochure which was an incredibly challenging task amongst the work I had also had to do for final year.
Ideation & Workshops.
We had many different variants for spreads and layouts for pages within the brochure, many of which were brought to the table amongst other students within my year. These studies helped decide which direction the brochure should lead and how certain designs would best suit the branding and aesthetic of our years work.
Headshots.
On top of the overall layout and compilation of work within the brochure, me and one of student took it upon ourselves to coordinate the photography of our students to furthermore aid their brochure profile. This again had gone through many different aspects of design and layout and many back and forth's with the year to decide which stylistic approach to headshots was best suited.
Print.
Experimenting with different GSM's and cover finishes, we all agree'd on a UV spot gloss of our logo as a very simple front cover, with some back and forth contacting various print shops and many quotes, we completed a crucial part of the EXPO Below is the final outcome of the NTU Design Industries Brochure 2018 and some images of the print.

Outcome.
I designed the layout, put all 180 profiles together and tied the branding identity into something I felt fit our year as a whole. It was an incredibly challenging experience but i had learn to become more organised with handling large amounts of work. I felt a huge responsibility to deliver, and portray the students in the best possible way.
